<h3><b>About the Job</b></h3>
<p>A senior-level Software Architect & Engineer is sought to lead mission-critical aerospace software development.</p>
<p>In this role, you will architect and deliver <b>scalable, safety-critical embedded and application-level software</b> supporting flight control, avionics, propulsion, energy management, and system monitoring. You will play a key role in defining software strategy, driving system integration, and ensuring compliance with aerospace certification standards.</p>
<p>This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of advanced aerospace technology on complex, safety-assured systems.</p>
<h3><b>What You’ll Do</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>Define software architecture for complex, distributed systems supporting real-time, flight-critical functions</li>
<li>Lead development of embedded software for avionics, flight control, propulsion, and monitoring systems</li>
<li>Own the full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, implementation, integration, verification, and certification</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and safety teams to ensure compliance with aerospace standards (e.g. DO-178C)</li>
<li>Define and lead a model-based approach to software development</li>
<li>Act as a technical leader, influencing best practices and positive engineering behaviours</li>
<li>Enforce engineering standards, rigor, resilience, and continuous improvement</li>
<li>Serve as a technical interface between project management and engineering teams</li>
<li>Challenge existing processes and introduce innovations to improve quality, safety, and delivery timelines</li>
<li>Stay current with industry developments and apply best‑in‑class engineering practices</li>
</ul>
<h3><b>What You’ll Bring</b></h3>
<ul>
<li>7+ years of professional experience in software engineering</li>
<li>Background in <b>aerospace or automotive</b> industries</li>
<li>Hands‑on experience across all phases of the software lifecycle</li>
<li>Strong expertise in <b>embedded systems and safety-critical software</b></li>
<li>Experience working with aerospace certification standards (DO-178C or similar)</li>
<li>Familiarity with certification frameworks from <b>TCCA, FAA, and/or EASA</b></li>
<li>Systems engineering experience is highly desirable</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional engineering teams</li>
</ul>
