<b>Summary</b><br><br>We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Ottawa. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our projects by applying your expertise in construction and project management to ensure quality outcomes that align with our mission of customer satisfaction.<br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Develop and review project plans and specifications.<br></li><li>Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.<br></li><li>Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs and timelines.<br></li><li>Utilize AutoCAD or drafting and design work.<br></li><li>Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards.<br></li><li>Prepare reports on project progress and compliance.<br></li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for project execution.<br></li><li>Implement innovative engineering solutions to improve project efficiency.<br></li><li>Overseeing estimating team (Canadian & International)<br></li><li>Manage and overseeing permit application processes<br></li><li>Review and stamp construction drawing<br></li><li><b>Qualifications</b><br></li><li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.<br></li><li>Proven experience in construction estimating and project management.<br></li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, and other similar softwares<br></li><li>Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.<br></li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.<br></li><li>Familiarity with construction inspection processes.<br></li></ul>
