Staff must be proactive and excel in a multi-tasking environment which is constantly changing. Staff should be eager to learn as MUJI carries over 7000 products. Ideal sales associates will be well versed in MUJI's philosophy and possess a love for its products. Staff are sometimes required to lift and transport heavy items. Minimal computer knowledge is necessary.</p><p>Roles and Responsibilities</p><p><em>Customer Service and Sales</em></p><ul><li>Ensure that customers are the top priority</li><li>Provide superior customer service</li><li>Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions</li><li>Be alert and respond to customers' needs and their buying signals</li><li>Be aware of store daily and weekly budgets and promotions, and actively seek sales to achieve these</li><li>Develop knowledge of the MUJI product range and sales techniques required to sell them</li></ul><p><em>Store Merchandising/ Product Handling</em></p><ul><li>Upholds great standards around merchandising and operations in the store and executes the company's visions</li><li>Develop high standards of merchandise presentation and stock handling as per MUJI guidelines</li><li>Ensure that shop floor and staff areas housekeeping and presentation are exemplary</li></ul><p><em>Systems</em></p><ul><li>Make efficient and effective use of all store equipment and systems, including the POS (point of sale) system</li><li>Assist where directed, with all forms of stock control, including yearly inventories, pricing, sales preparation</li></ul><p><em>Health Safety & Security</em></p><ul><li>Aid management team with general security of stock</li><li>Adhere to company's security procedures</li><li>Be aware of and adhere to company's health and safety guidelines</li></ul><p><em>General</em></p><ul><li>Develops team members by working shoulder-to-shoulder to build customer service capability, ensuring best customer experience is delivered in the store.</li><li>Uses our values to effectively collaborate and communicate information to deliver the right experience.</li><li>Flexibility to work varied hours including late shifts, weekends and holidays</li></ul><p>Skills</p><ul><li>Good communication</li><li>Excellent customer service</li><li>Initiative</li><li>Team player</li></ul><p>If you're passionate about quality products and exceptional service, we invite you to bring your unique talents to MUJI.
