Job Description
Project Manager (Infrastructure & Utilities)
Are you a driven project manager ready to take that next step into a leadership role? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you're trusted to lead a team, manage client relationships, and deliver impactful infrastructure projects?
We’re partnering with a reputable consulting firm to find a Project Manager to lead a growing portfolio of utility and linear infrastructure projects across BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-career PM (3–5 years of experience) who is ready to step up and own both the delivery and stakeholder management side of project execution.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors across multiple active projects
- Lead small, multidisciplinary project teams delivering utility infrastructure and linear corridor projects (e.g., pipelines, stations, structural upgrades)
- Mentor and support project coordinators and junior PMs -- foster growth and build your team culture
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement, and reporting across project lifecycles
- Oversee internal project controls while driving forward collaboration and continuous improvement
- Play a hands-on role in both project strategy and on-the-ground execution
What We're Looking For:
- 3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in infrastructure, utilities, energy, or municipal sectors
- Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills — you can keep multiple moving pieces aligned
- A natural team leader -- you're collaborative, communicative, and enjoy supporting junior staff
- Experience with scheduling tools, project budgets, and reporting workflows
- PMP or P.Eng. is a strong asset but not mandatory
- Previous experience in a consulting or owner’s rep environment is highly preferred
Why This Role?
- Lead a meaningful portfolio of capital infrastructure projects with community and environmental impact
- Be empowered to manage both the delivery and relationships -- own your role from start to finish
- Work within a collaborative, high-performing team that values leadership, growth, and mentorship
- Enjoy a flexible, hybrid work environment with room to grow your influence and career
Why Apply?
You’ll be joining a flexible, collaborative team focused on delivering high-impact infrastructure projects across Western Canada. This role offers strong leadership potential, exposure to diverse utility and linear corridor projects, and the chance to grow within a supportive, mentorship-driven environment.
