Principal Data Security Consultant (Canada)

Job Description

Lead and deliver data security and regulatory compliance-focused consultancy engagements.

• Partner with Quorum Cyber clients across a variety of industry verticals.
• Manage and participate end-to-end in client projects, including POCs, requirements gathering, design, implementation planning and guidance, environment optimisation, and operationalising Purview Security & Compliance capabilities.
• Use active listening and probing skills to understand business operations, challenges, and risks effectively.
• Communicate with technical and business stakeholders to assess current-state and future-state requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical architectures, visions, and roadmaps.

Subject matter expert for data security, governance, and processing.

• Coach and mentor peers to build team knowledge, expertise, and experience with key elements of people, processes, and technology within the discipline.
• Research industry best practices and maintain extensive technical knowledge in the security and compliance field.
• Collaborate and share expertise across strategic channel partnerships, such as with Microsoft.

Support pre-sales activities to help build the Data Security Practice revenue pipeline.

• Work closely with the sales teams to identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
• Prepare SOWs, proposals, RFP responses, and presentations to potential clients where required.

Support the continuous improvement of our Professional and Managed Data Security services catalogue.

• Contribute to the creation and improvement of our key Data Security service catalogue offerings within Professional Services.
• Contribute to the standardisation, development, and improvement of the Managed Data Security services.
