<p><strong>Medical Affairs Project Coordinator (Temporary Contract)</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Location: Markham, ON (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)</p><p>Contract Type: Temporary (Full-Time), 1 year with potential to extend</p><p>Industry: Healthcare / Life Sciences / Pharmaceuticals</p><p><br></p><p>A leading organization in the healthcare sector is seeking a Medical Affairs Project Coordinator to support the execution of medical communication projects and ensure operational excellence across cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a background in life sciences and a passion for project coordination in a regulated environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>1. Project & Operational Management</p><p>- Coordinate and manage medical initiatives such as advisory boards, roundtable discussions, symposia, and disease awareness campaigns.</p><p>- Oversee timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure seamless project execution.</p><p>- Support the review and localization of scientific materials using digital platforms (e.g., Veeva Vault).</p><p>- Liaise with healthcare professionals and third-party vendors to facilitate project delivery.</p><p>2. Systems & Technology</p><p>- Utilize platforms such as Veeva Vault, SAP, and CRM tools to manage workflows and documentation.</p><p>- Leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.</p><p>3. Cross-Functional Collaboration</p><p>- Act as a liaison between internal departments (e.g., medical, marketing, clinical operations) to align on project goals and execution.</p><p>- Provide administrative support including meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and calendar management.</p><p>4. Budget & Compliance</p><p>- Assist in managing budgets and vendor contracts related to medical education and event planning.</p><p>- Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Skills:</strong></p><p>Required:</p><p>- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing) from a recognized institution.</p><p>- Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.</p><p>- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (written and verbal).</p><p>- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.</p><p>- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance and quality standards.</p><p>Preferred:</p><p>- Project Management certification or equivalent experience.</p><p>- Familiarity with pharmaceutical/medical terminology and healthcare regulations.</p><p>- Experience with Veeva Vault or similar content management systems.</p><p>- Previous experience in a customer-facing or training role is an asset.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why Join?</strong></p><p>This is a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful medical initiatives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
