Head of Purchasing/Purchasing Manager
Burlington - Hybrid Model
$130,000 - $150,000 + bonus + benefits
Our Manufacturing/Building Services client based in Burlington is looking for a Procurement Leader to run with Purchasing department.
They are looking for an experienced people manager to manage a team of 4 and an annual spend of between $150-$200m on electronic and mechanical parts, equipment and components for big projects.
The focus of the role is to develop relationships with vendors and negotiate more favorable terms and contracts.
Although this title is Purchasing Manager, this is the most senior Purchasing role within the company, reporting into the COO, with high potential for growth and development.
As the ideal candidate, you will have:
- 10+ years Purchasing experience within a project, manufacturing or construction environment
- 5+ years Management experience
- Experience developing a Procurement team and department
- Exceptional listening and communication skills (high EQ)
