About the RoleÂ
Â
We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify, qualify, and nurture potential customers. You'll play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities across Canada and the US, and represent Measure Marketing by making a positive impression that sets the tone for the entire sales lifecycle. This role involves heavy CRM utilization (HubSpot) and a high volume of cold calling and LinkedIn lead prospecting. Â
You’re the first touchpoint in our GTM engine—booking meetings, warming up the pipeline, and helping our agency fill our calendars with the right prospects. You're confident on cold calls, creative in outreach, and disciplined in follow-up.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Prospect via cold calling, cold email, and LinkedIn outreachÂ
Set qualified meetings for AEsÂ
Maintain clean HubSpot CRM data, sequences, and activity logsÂ
Engage leads from inbound, events, or lead listsÂ
Run short qualification/discovery calls before hand-offÂ
Hit weekly KPIs (calls, emails, booked meetings)Â
Establish rapport and nurture relationships through follow-up communication and appointment confirmationÂ
Monitor and report on business development performance and market feedback to inform strategic decisionsÂ
Stay updated on industry trends and sales techniquesÂ
RequirementsÂ
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, or related fields or equivalent experience.Â
1–3 years B2B SDR or BDR experience (agency or SaaS preferred)Â
Confident with cold outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)Â
Fluent in HubSpot CRMÂ
Strong communication and note-taking skillsÂ
Energy, persistence, and clarity in conversationsÂ
Strong organizational and time management abilitiesÂ
Self-motivated and results-oriented mindsetÂ
Bonus: Exposure to the SEO/PPC/marketing industryÂ
What We OfferÂ
Base: $50K–$65K CAD (based on experience)Â
Commission: $150–$300 per booked & qualified meeting, bonus on closed-won attributionÂ
OTE Year 1: $75K–$100K CADÂ
