Job Description
**Administrative Assistant** Firma Contracting Inc. is a civil contractor that works on projects across western Canada. We are looking for a Administrative Assistant to support our project staff at our office in Edmonton. Our ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, keen, has attention to detail and has the proactive mindset to support administrative and logistical aspects of our projects. **Roles and Responsibilities** * Provide administrative assistance to our project teams, human resources and safety. * Assist with document control for active projects. * Assist with booking orientations, D&A pre-screens, and other pre-access employment needs for new hires. * Prepare audit reports from our HSE platform and verify compliance across all projects. * Support the accounting department with invoice processing, expense tracking, and documentation. * Assist with pulling insurance certificates, pulling WCB clearances and other documentation as needed for clients. * Administer and track assets such as vehicles, fuel cards, etc. * Assist with planning and executing team building events * Other administrative tasks as needed. **Qualifications** * Minimum 1 - 2 years of experience in office support, project administration or document control * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) * Adept with online platforms / quick to learn and master software / apps * Impeccable attention to detail and organization. * Diligent and quick to respond and follow up. * Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in English (written and spoken) * Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.Application Disclaimer
