Warehouse Manager (FT) - Agronomy

Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Warehouse Manager at the Agronomy Centre, reporting to the Crop Supply Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Overseeing the warehouse facility, including inventory control, management, and participation in the audit process as required.
2. Managing the warehouse team of 6-7 staff members, including training, development, performance management, and scheduling, while attending to staff time management.
3. Assisting the Crop Supply Manager and Assistant Crop Supply Manager with inventory procurement.
4. Coordinating and executing operational duties such as customer service, receiving, storing, and fulfilling requisitions/work orders from customers and applicators.
5. Coordinating the loading of products onto trucks for delivery to branches and producers, working closely with delivery drivers.
6. Operating forklifts for extended periods and maintaining the facility and grounds to meet CPIC standards.
7. Ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and safely by the team at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of chemical and warehouse operations, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities. Previous experience in commodity handling and team management is preferred. This position is classified as a Safety Sensitive Position and is subject to Pioneer Co-op’s Alcohol & Substance policy. Candidates must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and extended hours, and be capable of standing for long periods and performing heavy lifting.
