Adecco is currently seeking a skilled and driven Warehouse Manager to oversee operations at our client's global fulfilment centre in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a 6-month contract role offering $45-$50 per hour, ideal for an experienced professional with strong leadership and operational management skills.The Warehouse Manager will supervise daily operations, including receiving, handling, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products to ensure all customer and quality standards are consistently met. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, performance-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Pay rate: $45-$50/hour.

- Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
- Job type: 6-month contract | Full-time
- Hires fast, pays weekly.

- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse staff to meet operational goals.
- Develop and maintain warehouse operation systems, including inventory, storage, equipment utilization, and shipping processes.
- Oversee daily operations, logistics, and inventory management to ensure smooth fulfilment activities.
- Plan and monitor workflows, staffing levels, and space allocation for optimal productivity.
- Maintain compliance with Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) standards and ensure a safe, clean work environment.
- Review team productivity and develop actionable plans to enhance efficiency and minimize losses.
- Manage logistics and coordinate with transportation partners to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
- Inspect equipment and tools regularly and arrange maintenance when required.
- Prepare reports and monitor performance indicators for inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, and shipping timelines.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in modern warehousing and inventory management practices.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP or Oracle SCM preferred.
- Experience in a global manufacturing setting is an asset.
- Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma principles preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics, or a related field is an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying temperature environments.
- Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.
