The Opportunity:

You will oversee and provide project management leadership for all major projects ($5M+) within the Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) Sector comprising of six subsectors (Transportation Systems, Bridges / HI-ways & Roads, Water & Waste Water, Land Development & Municipal Engineering, Planning and Advisory). You will work collaboratively with the Sector Leadership, Major Project Delivery teams and Key Stakeholders to navigate complex situations and drive consistency across the project delivery life cycle

What you can expect to do here:


  • You will oversee and provide project management leadership for all major projects ($5M+) within the Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) sector working closely with the T&I and Project leadership.
  • You will partner with the (T&I) Strategic Pursuits and Alternative Delivery Leader and be Responsible on Major Projects from Opportunity to Bid and through Delivery
  • You will proactively partner with our national leaders in project management, commercial management and legal on issues that arise within the Major Projects
  • You will implement and drive consistency through our communities of practices for our Major Projects
  • You will interface with Clients as a Project Sponsor
  • You will have a Sector focused role on Major Projects in Transportation and Infrastructure, and act as a centralized point of contact in Major Projects, providing Executive insights to Sector Leadership and the Canadian Leadership Teams
  • You will apply your skills and abilities to navigate complex situations in projects with minimal information and take a diagnostic solution focused approach to project performance and delivery.
  • You will provide the high-level insights from a strategic level executive review to CLT, while having the unique ability to deep dive into the execution in support of the Project team as required
  • You will Lead the Executive Project Review meetings for Transportation & Infrastructure
  • You will generate efficiencies in the sector project performance and provide the ROI in this unique opportunity to strengthen the major projects with best practices that align with our national practice.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • University or equivalent education or experience Major Project Delivery
  • The ability to work dynamically and collaboratively across numerous Clients and Functional groups
  • Experience leading large complex infrastructure Projects in various traditional and progressive procurement models


Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): Starting at $174 750
