Our Winnipeg fleet maintenance team plays a critical role in ensuring our school buses are safe, reliable, and ready to serve the community.</p><p>Join the team that's <b>First for a reason</b>-where safety, reliability, and career growth come first.</p><b>What We Offer</b><ul><li>Competitive hourly wage</li><li>Year-round, full-time stability</li><li>Comprehensive benefits (medical, dental)</li><li>RRSP program with company contributions</li><li>Paid vacation and statutory holidays</li><li>Ongoing technical training and online learning resources</li><li>Career advancement opportunities within a large North American fleet</li><li>Annual boot and tool allowance</li><li>A supportive, safety-focused work environment</li><li>Employee discounts on cell plans, vehicles, and more through PerkSpot</li></ul><b>Key Responsibilities</b><ul><li>Diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet systems, including:</li><li>Brakes, suspensions, steering, and driveline</li><li>Engine performance and tune-ups</li><li>Transmissions and clutches</li><li>Electrical and auxiliary systems</li><li>Perform and lead Preventative Maintenance inspections (PMs), safety inspections, and annual certifications</li><li>Remove, repair, and reinstall major mechanical components with minimal supervision</li><li>Complete work orders accurately, including parts, labor, and documentation</li><li>Identify and report unsafe conditions, defects, or repairs needed</li><li>Conduct road calls and provide on-site emergency service as required</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and provincial regulations</li><li>Safely move vehicles within the yard and shop</li><li>Support and mentor apprentice mechanics</li><li>Participate in ASE certification (training and bonuses provided)</li></ul><b>Qualifications</b><ul><li>Truck & Transport Red Seal Certificate (or equivalent provincial license)</li><li>Valid Class 5 driver's licence (higher classes considered an asset)</li><li>Adequate personal tool set for heavy vehicle maintenance</li><li>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment</li><li>Comfortable using electronic repair manuals, diagnostic software, and work-order systems</li><li>Willingness to work assigned shifts and occasional on-call rotation</li></ul><p><b>Apply now !</b></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
