We are looking for a compassionate and caring LPN with a passion for the elderly to temporarily join our team at a beautiful Long-Term Care/ Assisted Living Facility in the Vancouver Island and Interior BC Region.

Contract:
3-6 _ months contract (depending on your availability_) with possibility of extension.
_Short term contracts can also be discussed!_

Schedule:
Shifts could be 8hrs/12 hrs
Compensation:
$45.00 per hour _ plus other perks! _
Responsibilities and duties:
Performs assessments.
Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
Directly supervises care staff to meet resident’s needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).

Pay: $45.00 per hour
