Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Construction Superintendent to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will come from a General Contractor background and bring a diverse portfolio of successfully delivered projects across multiple sectors. This role requires a strong leader who can manage daily on-site operations, ensure safety and quality compliance, and maintain tight control over project schedules and subcontractor performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Maintain daily site logs, reports, and documentation.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving throughout all phases of the project.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays or issues, and proactively implement solutions.
- Conduct regular site meetings and ensure strong communication between all project stakeholders.
- Interpret and enforce construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with a General Contractor.
- Proven track record managing diverse construction projects (commercial, institutional, or infrastructure).
- Experience with Water Treatment Plants and/or Pumping Stations is a strong asset.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
