<p><p>Join to apply for the <b>Software Developer</b> role at <b>Canada Life</b></p><p>Permanent Full Time</p><p>We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET technologies, front-end development, and database systems.</p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core, WCF and Web API</li><li>Build responsive front-end interfaces using Angular</li><li>Develop and maintain data integration packages using SSIS</li><li>Create and manage reports using SSRS</li><li>Work with MSSQL Server for database design, optimization, and queries</li><li>Manage source code and CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and TFS</li><li>Configure and deploy applications on IIS and Windows Servers</li><li>Collaborate with team members to define, design, and ship new features</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems</li><li>Ensure code quality through unit testing and code reviews</li></ul><ul><li>Proven experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, WCF, Web API and Angular</li><li>Strong knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and MSSQL</li><li>Experience with GitLab and TFS</li><li>Familiarity with IIS and Windows Server environments, AD-LDS</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Strong organizational and time management abilities</li><li>Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies</li><li>Proactive attitude and attention to detail</li><li>Collaborative mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment</li></ul><p>The base salary for this position is between <b>$55,700</b> - <b>$97,700</b> annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
