Today, we apply our expertise and innovative spirit to broader challenges—developing advanced technologies, sustainable practices, and manufacturing processes that redefine what is possible across various industries.</p><p></p><p><strong>About the Role:<br /></strong>Vitacore is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Shipping, Receiving & Logistics Coordinator to join our fulfillment team. This role plays a key part in ensuring that materials and products move accurately, efficiently, and on time across all Vitacore operations.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong background in global shipping and logistics, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset. You will work closely with project managers, buyers, engineers, and customers to coordinate shipments, manage warehouse operations, and support internal logistics functions.</p><p>This is a non-supervisory, cross-functional position that requires both independence and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p><p><strong>Logistics Coordination:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan, schedule, and manage all inbound and outbound shipments (domestic and international) for projects, including PO/WO parts and vendor onboarding.</li><li>Negotiate freight rates, prepare competitive bids (RFPs), and maintain relationships with carriers and logistics providers.</li><li>Prepare and maintain shipment documentation (bills of lading, customs paperwork, HS codes) and ensure compliance with Incoterms 2020 and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Track and trace shipments, monitor delivery status, and communicate updates to stakeholders.</li><li>Review freight invoices, create freight POs, and assist with freight spend analysis.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Shipping & Receiving Operations:</strong></p><ul><li>Inspect, verify, receive, and record incoming goods, updating internal spreadsheets and systems.</li><li>Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to company and regulatory standards.</li><li>Load and unload trucks, arrange pickups, and organize goods for distribution.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records and replenish stock as needed.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Warehouse & Fulfillment:</strong></p><ul><li>Organize warehouse and yard areas, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.</li><li>Assist customers and internal teams with order inquiries and logistics information.</li><li>Operate warehouse equipment including Raymond Reach trucks, counterbalance forklifts, and other material-handling machinery.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Skills and Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>3–5 years of experience in global shipping/logistics (ocean, air, courier); 5+ years in shipping & receiving preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of customs processes, HS codes, country of origin, Incoterms 2020, and hazardous goods transport.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and ERP systems; Power BI experience is an asset.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.</li><li>Team player with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.</li><li>Willingness to travel to other sites in Canada and flexibility to assist across multiple business functions.</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p><ul><li>$28-30 CAD hourly salary.</li><li>Health & Dental benefits.</li><li>2 weeks paid.</li><li>Tuition Assistance Program.</li><li>Multiple company events throughout the year.</li></ul><br><br><strong>About Vitacore Industries:</strong><p>Vitacore Industries Inc. manufactures personal protective equipment for Canadian frontline workers, available on demand.
