<h3>About the Opportunity</h3>
<ul>
<li>Effectively plan, supervise and execute engagements and client projects in accordance with all relevant professional standards and Firm policies.</li>
<li>Act as a trusted advisor and be actively involved in clients’ decision-making processes, directing and guiding as required and applicable.</li>
<li>Complete the detailed review of non-assurance engagement files, corporate and personal tax filings and related tax planning.</li>
<li>Foster an efficient, innovative, and team-focused environment</li>
<li>Conduct and assist others on the engagement team with research as necessary on technical matters related to client situations.</li>
<li>Conduct or provide input into staff performance reviews.</li>
<li>Develop the skills, capabilities and potential of less experienced staff through supervision, coaching, mentoring, knowledge transfer, internal training delivery, and assignment of challenging work opportunities.</li>
<li>Effectively manage and focus Firm resources,</li>
<li>Apply appropriate industry / business knowledge in anticipating, identifying and addressing relevant to the client’s business</li>
<li>Performance metrics</li>
<li>Chargeable hours – 1350 – 1450 hours per annum</li>
<li>Recoverable hours – 85% target per annum</li>
<li>Lead/participate in billings contribution to a minimum revenue to be agreed</li>
<li>Lead client engagements resulting in high client satisfaction (NPS average 9.0)</li>
</ul>
<h3>About You</h3>
<ul>
<li>Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA)</li>
<li>CICA Tax In-depth courses completed</li>
<li>Minimum of 6 years specializing in tax planning and/or relevant experience in tax</li>
<li>Experience in preparing and reviewing personal, corporate and trust returns, estate tax planning, co reorganizations and CRA dispute resolution</li>
<li>Excellent client service skills, with the ability to understand the clients’ businesses</li>
<li>Proficient in the use of Taxprep, tax research software, Caseware and Xero practice Management, MS Office Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of the BAIWay paperless methodology an asset</li>
<li>Proven people management and leadership skills</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues</li>
<li>Dedicated and motivated to achieve high standards and professionalism in the delivery of quality service and v clients</li>
<li>Proven ability to establish and maintain strong business relationships</li>
<li>Strong project management and organizational skills</li>
</ul>
<h3>Salary Range</h3>
<p>$135,000 - $150,000 / year</p>
