By joining our team, you'll help shape the future of electrical power distribution and establish Cence as the leader in low voltage (Class 2) and fault managed (Class 4) power systems.</p><p>We are looking for a <br>Senior Power Electronics Engineer</p><p>to lead the design and development of high-performance DC power systems for our Class 4 (Fault Managed Power) products. </p><p>Learn more about our vision and Class 2 (low-voltage) and Class 4 (Fault Managed Power) system and our vision here:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>1) Power Electronics Design</p><ul><li>Lead the design, development, implementation and integration of power delivery, protection, and conversion circuits (DC/DC, AC/DC ) up to 1KV and</li><li>Define architectures for efficient, safe, and reliable high-power DC distribution.</li><li>Conduct simulations (SPICE, or equivalent) to validate designs before prototyping.</li><li>Perform component selection, schematic capture, and PCB layout design and reviews.</li></ul><p>2) System Integration & Testing</p><ul><li>Drive prototyping, bring-up, and validation of new hardware.</li><li>Perform root-cause analysis and implement design improvements for efficiency, EMI/EMC, cost optimization, and thermal performance.</li><li>Collaborate with RF, firmware, mechanical and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration across subsystems.</li><li>Support long-distance cable performance optimization.</li></ul><p>3) Standards & Compliance</p><ul><li>Design to meet safety and performance standards and support interactions with regulatory bodies such as UL, FCC, CE.</li><li>Conduct and document reliability analyses (e.g., FMEA, thermal analysis, failure rate estimation).</li><li>Support certification and testing activities with third-party labs.</li></ul><p>4) Leadership & Mentorship</p><ul><li>Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and interns.</li><li>Lead design reviews and ensure best practices in power electronics engineering.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally to align power system design with project milestones.</li></ul><p>Qualifications</p><p>1) Education & Experience</p><ul><li>Master's degree or Ph.
