Senior DevOps Engineer

<p>Position Overview </p><p>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure automation, CI/CD engineering, and system reliability, with deep expertise in AWS cloud services and modern DevOps tooling. </p><p> </p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p><ul><li>Design, build, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using best practices for scalability, reliability, and security. </li><li>Automate cloud resource provisioning and environment management using Terraform and Ansible. </li><li>Architect, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across development, staging, and production environments. </li><li>Enhance deployment automation, environment consistency, and release workflows. </li><li>Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize production systems on Linux-based environments. </li><li>Implement and improve Docker-based containerization, image optimization, and secure deployment. </li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure production systems meet high availability, performance, and operational excellence standards. </li><li>Participate in incident response, and root cause analysis (RCA). </li><li>Promote DevOps best practices, automation, observability, and continuous improvement. </li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Qualifications </b></p><ul><li>Master's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline. </li><li>4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps. </li><li>Expert-level proficiency in: AWS Cloud Services; Terraform; Ansible; CI/CD Systems (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.) </li><li>Strong skills in: Bash; Golang </li><li>Deep understanding of: Linux operating systems; Docker containers </li></ul><p> </p><p>Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) </p><ul><li>Knowledge of PHP, Java, JavaScript </li><li>Familiarity with caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached </li><li>Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases </li><li>Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or multi-region cloud infrastructure </li><li>Understanding of distributed systems and microservices </li><li>Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch) </li></ul><p> </p><p>Soft Skills </p><ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Effective collaboration across engineering teams </li><li>Strong ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement mindset</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Benefits:</p><ul><li>Dental, Vision, Medical insurance, Paid Holiday, Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Leave, Management training programs</li><li>Salary range $90,000 to $ 110,000 CAD</li></ul><p></p>
