Job Description

<p>Design stable reliable and effective database objects and processes</p><p><b>Optimize and maintain legacy systems</b></p><p>Modify and perform tests on database objects and processes according to requests</p><p>Solve database usage issues and malfunctions</p><p>Identify new features based on user requirements</p><p>Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements</p><p>Research and suggest new database products services and protocols</p><p>Develop technical and training manuals</p><p>Provide data management support to users</p><p>Requirements and skills</p><p>Proven work experience as a Database developer</p><p>Advanced proficiency in SQL</p><p>Finetuning Complex Queries</p><p>Designing tables</p><p>Exceptional critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities</p><p>In-depth understanding of DBA concepts as mentioned below but not limited to</p><p>Permissions</p><p>Archiving Backups</p><p>Routine Housekeeping</p><p>Recovery</p><p>Security</p><p>Monitoring</p><p>Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications</p><p>Knowledge of MS SQL Server Services is a plus</p><p><b>Excellent analytical and organization skills</b></p><p>An ability to understand frontend users requirements and a problemsolving attitude</p><p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</p><p>Degree in information technology computer science or an adjacent field</p><p><b>Certificate in Database Development is strongly advantageous</b></p><p>years Engineering of Enterprise grade Database systems such as SQL Server Sybase Oracle or DB</p><p><b>Nice to Have</b></p><p>Cloud Database knowledge of platforms like Azure Nutanix Kubernetes Docker or Openshift</p><p><b>Developer mindset with skill in Python Ansible or CC</b></p><p>Experience with Opensource Databases such as MySQL etc Inmemory caches KeyValue Databases and Graph Databases</p>
