<p>Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a<br>Senior Buying Associate<br>on a permanent basis on our Home and Building Solutions (HABS) team. This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.</p><p>Join our HABS team In this role, you'll manage building materials orders, coordinate volume buys, and support supplier rebate programs (ILDC, SPANCAN, FCL). You'll also maintain pricing and program information for Local Co-ops and assist with weekly bulletins. Ready to make an impact? Apply today and help us build success together</p><p>What you'll do:</p><ul><li>Initiate, receive, and process building material orders, including truckload and less-than-truckload quantities; place retail orders with approved vendors and resolve claims or complaints.</li><li>Coordinate retail block buys, supplier quotations, and assist with negotiations for purchase programs and promotional events.</li><li>Process monthly, quarterly, and annual supplier rebates; reconcile accounts, update rebate matrices, and maintain supplier coding sheets.</li><li>Publish weekly Lumber Manager bulletins, provide booking recap results, and ensure timely updates to Local Co-ops.</li><li>Maintain supplier product and pricing files, vendor lists, mailing lists, and support updates to supplier ratings and program guides.</li><li>Assist with Buymart vendor specials, follow up with participants, and track sales performance; perform other duties as assigned.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Who you'll work with:</p><p>The Team:<br>You will work closely with the lumber team in areas of category management, distribution, and retail operations. You will work closely with another Senior Buying Associate while reporting into the Lumber Products Supervisor.
