Job Description:
Our TorontoJobs.ca Recruiting Division client, a food manufacturing company in North York, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their team on a part-time basis (3-5 days per month). This is an ongoing, long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end closing processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and other key account reconciliations.
- Generate and analyze financial reports.
- Collaborate with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of month-end procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience working with an accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
- This role is not suitable for candidates seeking full-time employment.
