We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Account Lead with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and prescription drug domain—specifically in research and manufacturing (not retail). This role is ideal for professionals who have worked within pharma environments and have since transitioned into sales or business development roles. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the life sciences sector by identifying new opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth through tailored data and AI solutions. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with channel partners to co-sell solutions and ensure client success
- Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities with a hunter mindset
- Lead relationship development from prospecting through to long-term engagement
- Leverage deep understanding of pharma R&D and manufacturing to tailor solutions to client needs
- Partner with internal revenue teams to drive market expansion and competitive positioning
- Maintain strong relationships with senior and executive-level stakeholders
- Navigate procurement processes, including RFPs and pre-sales initiatives
- Clearly articulate the value of our services across a diverse portfolio
- Oversee client agreements and ensure alignment with business goals
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
- Deliver detailed sales reports and insights to leadership
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and recommend strategic actions
- Collaborate with practice leads and SMEs to accelerate sales cycles and improve conversion
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Business Development, Account Management, or a similar role
- Proven experience in the pharmaceutical and prescription drug industry, particularly in research and manufacturing
- Demonstrated success in expanding into new markets and engaging high-value prospects
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage small teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working with C-level executives
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Databricks, or GCP is preferred
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with partners to drive lead generation and joint go-to-market strategies
