NOW HIRING – SEASONAL PAVING CREW

Border Paving Ltd. | Stony Plain, Alberta | Full-Time Seasonal

Border Paving Ltd. is hiring experienced and reliable crew members for the 2025 construction season.

We're looking for individuals who are focused, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE:

• Rakers
• Paver Operators
• Roller Operators
• Screed Operators
• Ground Personnel

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience with asphalt processes and paving equipment
• Solid understanding of worksite safety protocols and paving hazards
• Familiarity with hot mix asphalt, grade/slope control, and joint preparation
• Physically capable of extended outdoor work in varying conditions
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Available for overtime, weekends, and out-of-town assignments as required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and maintain paving equipment in accordance with safety and operational standards
• Complete daily inspections and perform minor servicing of assigned equipment
• Ensure proper execution of grades, slopes, and compaction to meet job specifications
• Rake joints and seams to specification, in coordination with rolling operations
• Support crew activities including sweeping, shoveling, and material handling
• Interact respectfully with the public and maintain a professional worksite presence
