Salary:

Blachford Lake Lodge is operated by Arctic Kingdom Wilderness Lodge Operations and is hiring a Sales Manager based in our Yellowknife office. This position manages the office in addition to the sales duties. A keen eye for detail is required, as is the ability to be flexible with a work schedule can be necessary on occasion.

Servicing and working with an off-grid community environment requires flexibility, communication, and the expectation that no day is the same. There are job requirements that may not be listed here.

Yellowknife Office

• Assisting to set up and organize our Yellowknife office location
• Cleaning of the Yellowknife office location
• Oversee Expediting and crosschecking schedules and manifests
• Office administration

Sales & Bookings

• Generate leads, close deals, and book clients from around the world.
  • Direct, agent and wholesale bookings
• Generate leads and close deals with institutional clients in NWT
• Work within Hubspot and keep pipelines neat and up to date
  
• Arrange commission cheques for any travel agent bookings as required
• Manage in-trade relationships with wholesalers and agents
• Reporting as required
• Cold Calls
• Work with marketing to develop sales materials
• Implement 2025 sales plan
• Attend tradeshows on behalf of Blachford Lodge (both in the NWT and outside the NWT in various parts of Canada and international destinations if required)
• Other ancillary revenue as directed
  

Community Support Program

• Engage in community programs on behalf of Blachford.
• Conduct due diligence for community programs in accordance with Blachfords mission and advocacy prior to providing sponsorship or donation.

Mandatory Certificates & Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience as a Sales Manager
• Class 5 drivers license with drivers abstract
• Criminal record check
• Valid passport
• Must be able to use multiple computer applications and cell phones. Must check emails regularly.
