<ul><li><strong>$20.00 / hour</strong></li><li><strong>Full Time Availability</strong></li><li><strong>Employee Meal Plan</strong></li><li><strong>Dental, Vision, Prescription, Medical Benefits for Full-Time Employees</strong></li><li><strong>Free Employee Parking<br><br></strong></li></ul><p><strong>SSP Canada operates several restaurants throughout Calgary International Airport, including: The Kitchen by Wolfgang Puck, Belgian Beer Cafe, and Bistro on the Bow. <br><br></strong></p><p><strong>Responsibilities as a Restaurant Shift Supervisor includes:</strong></p><ul><li>Supporting the Management Team in ensuring that standards of service are consistently achieved by the team and team members.</li><li>Understand that our guest is our priority.</li><li>Maintain brand operational standards and ensure that restaurant checklists and cleaning schedules are completed on a daily basis.</li><li>Coach team members through the induction process by acting as training buddy to ensure a comprehensive orientation and maintenance of brand standards.</li><li>Communicate and clarify major job duties, priorities, and expectations to team members</li><li>Provide support, direction, and encouragement in helping the team succeed in delivering business goals.</li><li>Establish and communicate performance standards and monitor team member performance through observations, discussions, etc., and document both good and unacceptable performance accordingly</li><li>Assist team members in developing the skills and abilities necessary for improved performance.</li><li>Ensure that products are of the highest quality.</li><li>Responsibility for overseeing cash duties.<br><br></li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 12 months experience within a busy restaurant/hotel environment.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with and motivate team members.</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and articulate instructions using clear and direct language.</li><li>Able to work as part of a team within a fast paced food service environment.</li><li>Supervisory experience required.</li><li>Cash handling experience required.</li><li>ProServe certificate required.<br><br></li></ul><p><em>Diversity and Inclusion is a priority at SSP.
