Working closely with R&D staff and production teams, you'll lead projects aimed at improving<br>data quality, throughput, and cost efficiency<br>in elemental analysis — driving innovation that delivers greater value to our clients worldwide.</p><p>This is a hands-on, laboratory-based role focused on<br>method development, process optimization, and technical problem solving<br>within an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited environment.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>R&D and Method Development</p><ul><li>Develop, validate, and implement new analytical methods using ICP-OES and ICP-MS for geochemical and mineral samples.</li><li>Optimize existing analytical processes to improve accuracy, sensitivity, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.</li><li>Author and update SOPs, validation protocols, and technical reports.</li><li>Evaluate performance and suitability of new instrumentation, software, and sample introduction systems.</li></ul><p>Technical Leadership and Support</p><ul><li>Provide expert guidance and troubleshooting support to domestic and international laboratories.</li><li>Collaborate with QA and Operations teams on root cause investigations and CAPA implementation.</li><li>Deliver technical training and mentoring for analysts and supervisors.</li></ul><p>Quality and Safety</p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and SCC accreditation requirements.</li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory environment aligned with company policies and best practices.</li></ul><p>What You Bring</p><ul><li>Education:<br> M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Geochemistry, or related field.</li><li>Experience:<br> Minimum 5 years of progressive R&D or analytical experience with<br> ICP-OES and/or ICP-MS systems<br> (Agilent, PerkinElmer, Thermo, or equivalent).</li><li>Proven track record in<br> method development<br> ,<br> instrument optimization<br> , and<br> data quality improvement<br> .</li><li>Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and project management abilities.</li><li>Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; statistical or data processing tools (e.g., JMP, Origin, or Python) an asset.</li><li>Ability to balance short- and long-term project priorities and occasionally travel as required.</li></ul><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Competitive Salary:<br> Recognizing your technical expertise and R&D impact.</li><li>Health Spending Account:<br> Flexible coverage for medical needs.</li><li>Leave for Life's Reasons:<br> Vacation, flex time, sick leave, and parental leave.</li><li>Career Development:<br> Opportunities for professional growth, training, and advancement within a global laboratory network.</li></ul><p>Join Our Team</p><p>If you're passionate about advancing geochemical analysis through innovation and precision, we'd love to hear from you.
