<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Perform inbound and outbound inspection, generate reports</li>
<li>Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.</li>
<li>Read, interpret and understand engineering drawings</li>
<li>Use calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices to determine quality of parts</li>
<li>Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.</li>
<li>Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.</li>
<li>Able to perform functionality tests and understand/interpret results</li>
<li>Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.</li>
<li>Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.</li>
<li>Assist in trouble shoot returned complaint samples and update complaint documentation when necessary and assigned by the supervisor</li>
<li>Assist in performing customer complaint investigations to determine root cause and appropriate CAPA when assigned by the supervisor</li>
<li>Escalate any new, unknown risk on defects/discrepancies further evaluation and decisions</li>
<li>Work with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams to ensure the timely completion and closure of deviations, discrepancies</li>
<li>Issue the corresponding NCR when deviations are reported</li>
<li>Issue the corresponding SCAR when applicable to Purchasing</li>
<li>Uphold quality standards as set by the company and ISO 13485:2016/MDSAP</li>
<li>Maintain a Quality Assurance log of testing results</li>
</ul>
<h3>Educational Background / Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Technical certificate in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Industrial, Biomechanical, etc.) or equivalent experience in a relevant field</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance role</li>
<li>Experience as an QA Inspector or Quality Technician (Experience in inspection techniques)</li>
<li>Educational background in Quality Assurance desirable</li>
<li>Understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.</li>
<li>High-level of visual awareness.</li>
<li>Advanced organizational skills.</li>
<li>Experience drafting reports and collating data.</li>
<li>Ability to work alone with minimal supervision</li>
<li>Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.</li>
<li>Ability to stand for long periods.</li>
<li>Must have communication and time management skills</li>
<li>Must be able to manage priorities and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Proficient in computer and ability to learn new software</li>
<li>Accuracy and excellent attention to detail</li>
<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Able to work in a cross-functional team with and communicate clearly with peers</li>
<li>Customer focused</li>
