As a Technical Writer, you&#39;ll play a key role in transforming complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content. This strategy is based on a foundation of "Made in Ortec" values, where safety, innovation and training are made a priority.</p><p></p><p>The QMS/QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring that Sonovision&#39;s deliverables </p><p>consistently meet established quality standards and that the company&#39;s Quality </p><p>Management System (QMS) remains compliant with ISO9001 and AS9100 </p><p>requirements. </p><p>This role combines hands-on quality assurance activities with the ownership and </p><p>maintenance of QMS documentation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement </p><p>processes. </p><p>The QMS/QA Specialist acts as the primary resource for quality topics, supporting </p><p>both operational teams and management in upholding and advancing Sonovision&#39;s </p><p>quality objectives.</p><p></p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li> Bachelor&#39;s degree in Engineering, Science, or Quality Management (or </li></ul><p>equivalent technical discipline), or</p><ul><li> 5+ years&#39; experience in quality assurance, process improvement, or technical </li></ul><p>documentation.</p><ul><li> Formal training or certification in Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, </li></ul><p>AS9100, or equivalent) is required.</p><ul><li> Experience with root cause analysis, <span >corrective/preventive</span> action planning, </li></ul><p>and regulatory compliance.</p><ul><li> Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and risk </li></ul><p>assessment.</p><ul><li> Excellent communication skills, able to translate requirements into procedures </li></ul><p>and reports.</p><ul><li> Experience supporting audits and continuous improvement projects</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Quality Assurance (QA)</p><ul><li> Perform regular quality checks on deliverables as part of the production </li></ul><p>workflow.</p><ul><li> Review, update, and maintain customer-specific checklists and quality </li></ul><p>guidelines.</p><ul><li> Participate in customer meetings as needed, providing clear root cause and </li></ul><p>corrective action (RCCA) plans.</p><ul><li> Support Operations Managers in investigating quality escapes and developing </li></ul><p>corrective actions.</p><ul><li> Lead monthly quality review meetings to discuss recent issues and share </li></ul><p>lessons learned.</p><ul><li> Provide completion schedules and estimates for non-billable QA tasks.</li></ul><p>Quality Management System (QMS)</p><ul><li> Own the maintenance, revision, and audit-readiness of all QMS </li></ul><p>documentation, including the Quality Manual, Management System </p><p>Procedures, Work Instructions, and Customer-Specific Guidelines.</p><ul><li> Act as the primary QMS representative for both internal and external audits, </li></ul><p>ensuring all records and objective evidence are available and up to date.</p><ul><li> Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies, procedures, and continuous </li></ul><p>improvement initiatives.</p><ul><li> Train and support staff on QMS requirements, quality standards, and audit </li></ul><p>procedures, ensuring company-wide understanding and compliance.</p><ul><li> Communicate updates to quality policies and procedures across the </li></ul><p>organization, using internal platforms such as SharePoint and Jira.</p><ul><li> Lead root cause analysis and corrective action planning following audit </li></ul><p>findings or quality escapes and track the implementation of corrective actions.</p><ul><li> Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, leveraging </li></ul><p>feedback from audits, customer input, and quality data.</p><ul><li> Advise management on quality strategy and compliance risks, contributing to </li></ul><p>company-wide decision-making on quality initiatives.</p><ul><li> Regularly interface with executive management and external auditors as the </li></ul><p>company&#39;s designated QMS representative.</p><p></p><p><strong>What we can offer you:</strong></p><ul><li>Hybrid remote work opportunities.
