The Opportunity
The Program Lead, Space & Leasing plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of space-related initiatives across the Health Centre, including off‑site locations. This role supports the Space & Leasing team in coordinating moves, renovations, space reallocations, and operational transitions to ensure programs and teams are supported through change.
The Program Lead works closely with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, coordinate scheduling and communication, and ensure alignment across clinical, administrative, and facilities teams. This position supports projects from initial planning through to implementation, working alongside the Manager, Space & Leasing and other internal partners to ensure activities are organized, communicated, and completed smoothly.
Hours of Work
Monday‑Friday, 08:30‑16:30 (37.5 hours weekly)
Your Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business administration, project management, facilities management, or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered).
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience in healthcare or comparable environments requiring strong coordination, stakeholder engagement, and adherence to regulatory or operational requirements.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting or coordinating projects or programs within a complex organization; experience related to infrastructure, facilities, real‑estate, or space planning is considered an asset.
- Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of design principles as applied to hospital functions and systems.
- Knowledge of the construction process from preliminary design through the tender phase.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
- Competencies in other languages are an asset.
