Job Description

<p>Our client is seeking two Production Schedulers to join their team in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in manufacturing, industrial, or repair operations who have a strong foundation in planning and scheduling. The successful candidates will play a critical role in building, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules while collaborating closely with production, planning, and project controls teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. If this sounds like you please apply directly or send your resume to .</p><p><br></p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using contract documentation, estimates, and work/material sheets.</li><li>Ensure schedule budgets accurately align with project contracts as scope evolves through cancellations, adjustments, or change orders.</li><li>Collaborate with the Scheduling Team Lead, Planning Team, Project Managers, and QC to maintain accurate activity breakdowns, logic sequencing, and inspection points.</li><li>Provide schedule-specific support to the Planning and Project Controls teams to support effective decision-making.</li><li>Perform daily updates to project schedules based on inputs from Production, Planning, Project Controls, and QC to reflect current project progress.</li><li>Prepare and deliver periodic reports on efficiency, schedule health, and forecasting for Production, Program, QC, Project Controls, and Accounting teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Post-secondary degree, preferably in a technical, engineering, or related discipline.</li><li>2-5 years of planning and scheduling experience, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial, or repair environment.</li><li>Proven ability to interpret work breakdown structures and implement them into detailed project schedules.</li><li>Experience with Primavera P6, MS Excel, Aveva, and/or AutoCAD considered an asset.</li><li>Trade Certificate or Red Seal designation considered an asset.</li><li>Lean/Six Sigma (White, Yellow, or Green Belt), PMP designation, and knowledge of naval repair methods are considered strong assets.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Pay: $75,000 - $90,000 depending on seniority. </p><p>On site 5 days per week in Halifax, Nova Scotia. </p><p>Relocation available. </p><p><br></p><p>Please note that the posted pay range for this role may vary based on seniority, qualifications, or prior experience.
