<h3>Job Summary</h3>
<p>Veolia is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for understanding water treatment process engineering design principals as well as the interrelated engineering principals like instrumentation and controls, mechanical and operations. These skills will enable monitoring and optimizing the water treatment process, for UF, MBR, RO, EDI and other water treatment methods for Municipal and Industrial customers. You will also work closely with a matrixed organization to identify and implement process improvements ensuring customer satisfaction.</p>

<h3>Duties & Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Develop in depth understanding of water treatment process engineering principals and designs for wastewater, drinking water and industrial applications that you will be responsible for, including an understanding of how interrelated system components make up a functioning water treatment plant (instrumentation and controls, mechanical pumps, valves, and programming).</li>
<li>Daily duties will extend to:
<ul>
<li>In depth data manipulation, analysis, and timely troubleshooting</li>
<li>Creating customer-centric technical reports that analyze process and operations data to validate against design criteria, identifying anomalies, and assessing risks to provide recommendations to manage or eliminate risks proactively</li>
<li>Engineering document review, including Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Design, Process Flow Diagrams, Mass Balances, Controls documents, and research into specific processes or issues that may need attention</li>
<li>Following QAQC procedures to validate and maintain data quality for your projects</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Manage customer expectations, confidently deliver sound technical guidance to ensure any plant can be utilized as a positive reference for Veolia.</li>
<li>Work effectively within a matrixed organization building a network across multiple teams to promote continual professional development.</li>
<li>Travel up to 10% of the time to perform plant process audits, troubleshooting, and cleaning assistance at customer sites and assist in managing the client relationship overall.</li>
<li>Assist service project managers in the design and implementation of upgrades and project work to existing water plants.</li>
<li>Identify opportunities for future sales.</li>
<li>80% of time will be spent performing the first 2 duties.</li>

<li>In depth understanding of water treatment engineering principles and applications</li>
<li>Data analysis and report writing</li>
<li>Troubleshooting and problem solving water treatment systems</li>
<li>Customer relationship management</li>
<li>Project Management skills</li>
</ul>
<h3>Education & Experience</h3>
<h3>Required</h3>
<ul>
<li>4-year degree in Chemical, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or Chemistry preferred; or a 3-year Diploma</li>
<li>Equivalent water experience will also be considered for this position</li>
<li>Demonstrated written and oral communication skills</li>
<li>Proven ability to multitask on several concurrent projects</li>
</ul>
<h3>Preferred</h3>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience with membrane systems, water and/or wastewater treatment process engineering, operations, commissioning, field service, or design experience is an asset.</li>
<li>Experience with data manipulation, analytics development, data science.</li>
<li>Proficient in data analysis and interpretation utilizing BI tools</li>
<li>Experience and basic knowledge of instrumentation, control valves, rotating equipment, centrifugal pumps, chemical addition pumps, and centrifugal compressors, is an advantage.</li>
<li>French language an asset.</li>
