Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Etobicoke, Ontario, for a Plant Manager. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining high standards of quality control, and adhering to food safety regulations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating production planning, supervising manufacturing operations, and collaborating with teams to meet organizational goals. The Plant Manager will also ensure compliance with BRC standards and oversee process improvements to optimize operational productivity.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Plant Management, with solid leadership abilities
- Experience in Plant Operations and Operations Management
- Proficiency in Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, particularly BRC requirements
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in the meat processing or food manufacturing industry is an asset
