Orthodontist – Scotia Dental (Halifax, NS)

1 Day Per Week | Established Patient Demand | Collaborative Multispecialty Team

Scotia Dental, a respected and long‑standing practice in the heart of Halifax, is seeking an experienced Orthodontist to join our growing team 1 day per week, ideally Fridays. This is a proactive growth opportunity supported by strong internal referral demand, including from our two in‑house Pediatric Dentists. Opportunity Overview

• Position: Orthodontist


• Start Date: Week of February 1, 2026


• Schedule: 1 day per week (Friday preferred); 2–3 operatories provided


• Active Patients: 7,000 total; strong ongoing demand for specialty services


• Technology: Pan/Ceph, Digital X‑ray, iTero, Videa Health AI


• Practice Model: Multidisciplinary clinic with strong internal referrals

About You

• Graduate from an accredited DDS/DMD Program or successful completion of the National Dental Examining Board of Canada (NDEB) Equivalency Process.


• Registered and in good standing with provincial licensing requirements.


• Valid CPR certification.
