<h3>Key Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Registered in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario</li>
<li>MoCA training certification, or willingness to obtain within 1 month of hire</li>
<li>Has relevant experience managing acute adult patients who have a variety of conditions, particularly amputations, neurological, medical, and surgical adult populations</li>
<li>Demonstrates the ability to work on a dynamic, interdisciplinary team including families and community partners</li>
<li>Has effective verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and is able to be self‑directed in a fast‑paced, flexible working environment, balancing the needs of two unique teams</li>
<li>Has previous experience and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with Occupational Therapist Assistants</li>
<li>Seating and positioning and wound care experience are considered assets</li>
</ul>
<h3>Position Summary</h3>
<ul>
<li>Assumes new caseloads comfortably and competently, with a strong focus on occupational performance issues in the acute patient</li>
<li>Is an active member of the interdisciplinary team</li>
<li>Provides Occupational Therapy services in keeping with the College guidelines and Essential Competencies</li>
<li>Provides clinical teaching, mentoring and/or supervision for Occupational Therapy students; engaging with inter‑professional education experiences coletall health disciplines</li>
<li>Supervises support personnel in accordance with College guidelines</li>
<li>Participates in Professional Practice meetings as required</li>
<li>Supervises students and volunteers as appropriate</li>
<li>Participates actively in program planning and continuous quality improvement, thereby contributing to the overall vision/mandate of Occupational Therapy services at Trillium Health Partners</li>
<li>Provides workload measurement data as per MOH requirements</li>
