Based in Oakville, Ontario, Coordinate Industries maintains high precision standards to achieve tight tolerances required by its clients.</p><p>Role Description</p><p>The Military & Defense Program Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex manufacturing projects to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and operational efficiency. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing project schedules and resources, and ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety protocols. The coordinator plays a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that customer requirements are met with precision and excellence.</p><p>Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Accountable to management and to the customer for timely delivery of program/contractual deliverables such as but not limited to status, expected complete dates and quote support.</li><li>Responsible to follow up with internal production and external suppliers on all work in progress</li><li>Responsible for vendor PO placement and follow up to ensure on time delivery as per lead time as well as customer need date and to ensure quality standards are upheld</li><li>Establish communication and maintain overall day to day business relationship with customers and suppliers through frequent communication at all levels as deemed necessary Work with a diverse team in cross functional environment to ensure progress of product flow and to be able to facilitate and/or provide ongoing feedback to the customer</li><li>Facilitate communication and reporting between project teams and senior management.</li><li>Manage customer PO scheduling changes and work hand in hand with shop scheduler</li><li>Follow all applicable quality policy and procedures as per Quality Manuals</li><li>Follow all safety rules and regulations</li><li>Work with diverse team in cross functional environment to ensure progress of product flow and to be able to facilitate and /or provide ongoing feedback to the customer.</li><li>Remain abreast of industry changes and new technology, equipment, systems etc. as they relate to improving the key operations</li></ul><p>Experience, Education and Skill Requirements</p><ul><li>BS degree in Business Management (Sales, Marketing, International trade, Public Relations)</li><li>Experience with ERP/MRP software and Epicor.</li><li>Proven experience in program coordination, project management, or related roles within military or defense sectors.</li><li>Combination of 1 to 2 years of experience in Customer Service, Procurement and/or Program/Project Management</li><li>Experience in Operation and manufacturing is a must</li><li>Ability to work under time pressures and flexibility to adjust to sudden work patterns or schedules.</li><li>Someone who thrives in a fast-paced and fluid environment and is able to think on their toes</li><li>Strong team player, recognized for leadership and creativity</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Proven leadership skills particularly in, creating possibilities, organizational change, consistently delivering great performance and managing people for success</li><li>Ability to influence without direct control of resources</li><li>Excellent organization skills.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities</li><li>Superior problem solving and analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative)</li><li>Demonstrated passion for solving problems and manufacturing and operational excellence</li><li>Self-motivated and able to achieve high impact within a short time.</li><li>Able to self-control and follow instructions independently</li></ul>
