Job Title: Mechanical Assembler I Location: Airdrie, Canada
What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Assembler I, you will play a key role in assembling and mounting mechanical components and sub-assemblies by following standard layouts, schematics, and customer drawing packages. Your responsibilities will include:
Assembling and mounting mechanical and sub-assembly components to build complete structures.
Assembling products with standard options by interpreting customer drawings and schematics.
Assembling products with non-standard options under the guidance of a more experienced Mechanical Assembler.
Completing required documentation and checklists accurately.
Delivering completed sub-assemblies to the appropriate production areas.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position focuses on:
Mounting basic mechanical components using standard layouts and options.
Performing sub-assembly tasks as needed.
Gaining and developing advanced mechanical skills under supervision.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with basic wiring schematic symbols is an asset.
Previous mechanical assembly experience is preferred but not required.
