<p><b> Position Overview </b><p> The <b> Yard Material Handling Specialist </b> plays a vital role in supporting the efficient flow of materials in our outdoor yard operations. Working primarily outdoors, this position is responsible for safely operating a <b> Combilift forklift </b> to handle, move, and organize heavy pipes and related materials. We value adaptability and encourage every team member to take ownership of their work while supporting one another to achieve shared goals. </p><p></p><p><b> Key Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li> Safely operate a <b> Combilift forklift </b> to load, unload, and transport heavy pipes and related materials around the yard. </li><li> Perform <b> regular yard inventory checks </b> , verifying quantities and identifying discrepancies. </li><li> Assist with <b> stock organization and placement </b> , ensuring materials are stored securely and accessibly. </li><li><b> Inspect materials and equipment </b> for damage or safety concerns and report issues promptly. </li><li> Maintain <b> clean, organized, and hazard-free yard areas </b> in accordance with company safety standards. </li><li> Support shipping, receiving, and general yard operations as needed. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Skills & Qualifications </b></p><ul><li> Valid <b> Combilift or Forklift Operator Certification </b> (experience with long-load handling preferred). </li><li> Strong <b> spatial awareness </b> and ability to maneuver large or awkward materials safely. </li><li><b> Attention to detail </b> and commitment to accuracy in inventory and documentation. </li><li> Basic <b> math, communication, and computer skills </b> (Excel, email, and data entry). </li><li> Comfortable working <b> outdoors year-round </b> in varying weather conditions. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Education & Certification </b></p><ul><li> High school diploma or equivalent required. </li><li> Valid forklift license and/or <b> Combilift experience </b> strongly preferred. </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Physical Requirements </b></p><ul><li> Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. </li><li> Capable of lifting up to <b>50 lbs </b> independently. </li><li> Comfortable working in <b> outdoor environments </b> and following all <b> safety protocols </b> and operational procedures. </li></ul><p></p>
