This is a Onsite role.</p><p>Position: Mac Support</p><p>Location: Vancouver, BC - Onsite</p><p><br></p><p>Job Description:</p><p>We are seeking an experienced <strong>Mac Support Engineer</strong> to provide technical support for macOS devices, Apple hardware, and related enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise with macOS environments, MDM tools, security configurations, and end-user support. This role ensures smooth operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all Mac-based systems across the organization.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Provide <strong>Level 1/Level 2 technical support</strong> for macOS devices, MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, and Apple peripherals.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to <strong>macOS, Apple hardware, software applications, network connectivity</strong>, and user account problems.</li><li>Install, configure, and update macOS systems, applications, and security patches.</li><li>Manage and administer <strong>MDM/EMM tools</strong> (Jamf Pro, Kandji, Intune, Workspace ONE, etc.) for device enrollment, configuration profiles, and policy enforcement.</li><li>Support enterprise applications including Microsoft Office for Mac, VPN clients, SSO integrations, and productivity tools.</li><li>Assist with onboarding/offboarding: device provisioning, user account setup, and access configuration.</li><li>Maintain and enforce <strong>security standards</strong>, including encryption (FileVault), password policies, certificates, and compliance checks.</li><li>Perform root-cause analysis, document resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.</li><li>Collaborate with network, security, and Windows support teams for cross-platform coordination.</li><li>Track and resolve incidents through ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).</li><li>Manage Apple device inventory, procurement requests, and lifecycle management.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>5-7+ years of experience in <strong>Mac Support / macOS Engineering / Apple Device Management</strong>.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of <strong>macOS, Apple hardware</strong>, and Apple ecosystem components.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>MDM platforms</strong> (Jamf Pro, Kandji, Mosyle, Intune, or similar).</li><li>Understanding of networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP).</li><li>Familiarity with Bash/zsh command-line usage and basic scripting for automation.</li><li>Experience supporting SaaS tools (Google Workspace, O365, Okta, Duo, Zoom, Slack, etc.).</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer support skills.</li></ul><p></p>Create Your Resume First
