Salary range: $55,000-$70,000
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- 3+ years experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant in commercial litigation, insurance, tort liability, or health law preferred.
- Diploma or equivalent experience as a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk
- Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced functions in Word.
- Professional communication with clients, lawyers, and firm members is essential.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with flexibility in setting priorities.
About the role
If hired, you will:
- Manage calendars, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Coordinate and review document production, filing, and record-keeping
- Handle telephone queries, emails, and client correspondence
- Care for clients, update their details and assist with basic queries.
- Assist with billing and credit control processes, liaising with lawyers and accountants
- Support marketing activities for lawyers (pitches and presentations)
