Legal Coordinator

Our client, a publicly traded mining company, located in downtown Vancouver, is seeking an experienced Legal Coordinator to join their dynamic legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of legal activities within a vibrant and growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on laws, industry practices, and regulations, and summarize findings.
  • Provide general administrative support, including drafting, editing, and proofreading documents, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
  • Conduct searches using online filing systems such as BC OnLine and SEDAR
  • Prepare presentations, meeting materials, and disclosure documents.
  • Assist with policy compliance testing, training, and document preparation.
  • Support transaction work, including managing data rooms and contract reviews.
  • Maintain corporate policy databases and assist with updates.
  • Contribute to team projects and handle other duties as needed.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of administration experience in a professional services industry
  • Legal experience considered a strong asset
  • Completed post-secondary degree or diploma
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under high pressured environment
  • Someone who is willing to go above and beyond
