<p>JOB POSTING: DEDICATED SAFETY WATCH (Spark & Confined Space Monitor)</p><p>Company: Principle Projects Ltd.</p><p>Location: Various Industrial Sites, Alberta (Travel required from Edmonton area)</p><p>Job Type: Temporary</p><p>Salary: $ $26.00 per hour (Based on experience and certifications)</p><h3>About the Opportunity</h3><br><p>Principle Projects Ltd. is seeking a focused and reliable Dedicated Safety Watch to perform crucial Spark Watch and Confined Space Monitor duties on major industrial construction projects (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power). This is an essential role for ensuring compliance and safety on site.</p><h3>We Offer</h3><ul><li><p>Competitive Compensation: Strong hourly wage plus night shift premium (where applicable).</p></li><li><p>Benefits: Full benefits package after a qualifying period.</p></li><li><p>Travel: Accommodations (camp/hotel/RV allowance) provided for all project sites.</p></li></ul><h3>Core Responsibilities</h3><ul><li><p>Confined Space Monitoring: Maintain entry logs, monitor air quality, ensure ventilation, and coordinate emergency procedures as Attendant.</p></li><li><p>Spark/Fire Watch: Actively monitor all hot work (welding/grinding), ensure fire protection and equipment is ready, and perform the 30-minute post-work watch.</p></li><li><p>Compliance: Complete required permits, assist with hazard assessments, and maintain strict adherence to site safety protocol.</p></li></ul><h3>Requirements & Qualifications</h3><br><p>Mandatory Valid Safety Tickets:</p><ul><li><p>Confined Space Entry & Monitor</p></li><li><p>Fire Watch (Spark Watch)</p></li></ul><p>Key Assets:</p><ul><li><p>Previous industrial safety watch experience.</p></li><li><p>CSTS-2020 or CSO, Standard First Aid, H2S Alive.</p></li></ul><p>General:</p><ul><li><p>Ability to meet site access requirements.</p></li><li><p>Must be reliable, attentive, and able to work outdoors in various conditions.</p></li></ul><p><em>Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.</em></p>
