Job Description
Aplin is seeking an IT Analyst with expertise in Crystal Reports to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, advanced Excel functions (including pivot tables), and experienced in designing and maintaining Crystal Reports, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.While approximately 80% of this role focuses on data and reporting, about 20% will involve hardware and desktop support. The successful candidate should be comfortable performing IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) duties, including building and refreshing hardware, connecting peripherals, and handling hands-on technical work related to end-user hardware and software setups.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday daytime in-office position with benefits being offered.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Crystal Reports based on business requirements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
- Use advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, to organize and interpret data.
- Collaborate with departments to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timeliness of reports and data analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to report generation or data integrity.
- Provide hardware and desktop support as needed, including basic equipment setup and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Crystal Reports, including designing and modifying complex reports.
- Strong SQL skills (query writing, optimization, and database management).
- Advanced Excel skills (functions, formulas, pivot tables).
- Experience supporting end-user hardware and performing IMAC activities is an asset.
