Investment Content WriterExciting role for an experienced investment writer to create high-impact content in the insurance and wealth management industry. Hybrid position based in Toronto. Collaborate with investment experts, shape messaging across platforms, and support strategic market positioning. One-year contract.
What is in it for you:
• Salaried: $43-52 per hour.
• Incorporated Business Rate: $53-62 per hour.
• 12-month contract (maternity leave coverage)
• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
• Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
• In-office presence required from Tuesday to Thursday.
• Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.
Responsibilities:
• Research and develop original investment content for use across various channels including social media, web, email, and sales collateral.
• Ensure editorial accuracy, grammatical precision, and adherence to brand and messaging standards.
• Collaborate with investment teams, product managers, legal, compliance, marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
• Work within content management systems and digital platforms efficiently.
• Contribute to the broader content strategy by offering creative input and adapting to dynamic business needs.
• Maintain strong cross-functional relationships and demonstrate sound editorial judgment.
• Uphold a high level of professionalism and ability to work across departments with various stakeholders
What you will need to succeed:
• Bachelor's degree related to the role.
• 3+ years of investment writing experience.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and global economic forces.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Bilingual in English and French to support content review, stakeholder communication, and regulatory alignment in both official languages (nice to have).
• Passion for the wealth management industry and intellectual curiosity.
• Creative thinking and collaborative approach.
• Strong ability to influence and contribute to content direction.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Strong team orientation and ability to work well under pressure.
