Inside Sales Manager Opportunity in Montreal!


Main tasks of the Inside Sales Manager:

  • Maintains and reinforces the corporate sales strategy and design with the Inside Sales Team
  • Establishes and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction on all sales transactions
  • Communicates to and works with the Market Area Sales Manager to help resolve unique customer issues
  • Supervises activities of the Inside Sales Department
  • Ensures team members meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales, lead generation and contact productivity
  • Forecasts and recruits qualified candidates for available and/or upgraded Inside Sales Team positions
  • Develops and executes ongoing training that provides both formal training and informal coaching sessions to all Inside Sales Representatives
  • Encourages feedback and is available to answer questions, provide direction and/or offer assistance when needed
  • Updates all Inside Sales Representative reference material as appropriate
  • Participates in training and coaching the Inside Sales staff
  • Assists in the communication and maintenance of the Market Area's pricing and service strategies
  • Sets up and maintains accurate customer records for all customer interactions (prospect data, contracts, orders and service machine documentation)
  • Works with the Market Area Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to up sell and cross sell to customers via outbound calls
  • Communicates goals to Inside Sales Representatives and arranges for proper training
  • Direct supervision of 10 full-time employees, including: Inside Sales Supervisor & Account Executives
  • Indirect supervision of 10 full-time employees, including: Account Associates
  • All other related tasks


Requirements for the Inside Sales Manager position:

  • Bachelor's degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in business-to-business sales management, plus three years in direct business-to-business sales (in addition to education experience)
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Bilingual (French and English)

Principales tâches du Responsable des Ventes Internes :

  • Maintient et renforce la stratĂ©gie de vente de l’entreprise avec l’équipe des ventes internes

  • Communique avec le Responsable des Ventes de la Zone MarchĂ© afin de rĂ©soudre les problèmes clients spĂ©cifiques
  • Supervise les activitĂ©s du dĂ©partement des ventes internes
  • Veille Ă  ce que les membres de l’équipe atteignent ou dĂ©passent les objectifs d’appels commerciaux (ventes, gĂ©nĂ©ration de leads, productivitĂ© des contacts)
  • PrĂ©voit et recrute des candidats qualifiĂ©s pour les postes vacants ou Ă  pourvoir dans l’équipe des ventes internes
  • DĂ©veloppe et met en Ĺ“uvre des formations continues, formelles et informelles, pour tous les reprĂ©sentants des ventes internes
  • Encourage les retours d'information et se rend disponible pour rĂ©pondre aux questions, donner des directives et offrir de l’assistance si nĂ©cessaire
  • Met Ă  jour la documentation de rĂ©fĂ©rence destinĂ©e aux reprĂ©sentants des ventes internes, selon les besoins
  • Participe Ă  la formation et Ă  l'encadrement du personnel des ventes internes
  • Contribue Ă  la communication et au maintien des stratĂ©gies tarifaires et de service de la Zone MarchĂ©
  • Met en place et maintient des dossiers clients prĂ©cis pour toutes les interactions (donnĂ©es prospects, contrats, commandes, documentation sur les Ă©quipements de service)
  • Collabore avec le Responsable des Ventes de la Zone MarchĂ© pour dĂ©velopper et mettre en Ĺ“uvre des stratĂ©gies de vente croisĂ©e et de montĂ©e en gamme par le biais d'appels sortants
  • Communique les objectifs aux reprĂ©sentants des ventes internes et veille Ă  leur formation adĂ©quate
  • Supervision directe de 10 employĂ©s Ă  temps plein, dont un Superviseur des Ventes Internes et des ChargĂ©s de Comptes
  • Supervision indirecte de 10 employĂ©s Ă  temps plein, dont des AssociĂ©s aux Comptes
  • Toutes autres tâches connexess


Exigences pour le poste de Responsable des Ventes Internes :

  • DiplĂ´me universitaire (accrĂ©ditĂ©) ou, Ă  dĂ©faut, diplĂ´me d’études secondaires ou Ă©quivalent (GED accrĂ©ditĂ©) avec 4 ans d’expĂ©rience professionnelle pertinente
  • Minimum de trois ans d’expĂ©rience pertinente en gestion des ventes interentreprises, ainsi que trois ans d’expĂ©rience directe en vente interentreprises (en plus de la formation acadĂ©mique)
  • Solides compĂ©tences en nĂ©gociation
  • Bilingue (français et anglais)
