<p><b>Job Title: Kafka Infra Lead</b></p><p><b>Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)</b></p><p><b>Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>Will own and enhance the enterprise Kafka messaging platform, partnering with cross-functional technology teams to ensure seamless integration, stability, scalability, and security. Requires deep expertise in Confluent Kafka administration, large-scale cluster management, and event-driven architecture, with strong stakeholder collaboration and leadership skills.</p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Lead integration and support of Kafka messaging infrastructure across technology teams</li><li>Install, administer, upgrade, and maintain Confluent Platform components</li><li>Analyze system logic, identify issues, and design/implement enhancements and solutions</li><li>Support large, multi-node Kafka clusters in a production environment</li><li>Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Systems Analysts to document impacts and requirements</li><li>Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and security concerns; propose mitigation strategies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Required Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Expertise in Apache Kafka, Zookeeper, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, Control Center, Replicator, and Security Plugins</li><li>Experience managing large-scale Kafka clusters and full platform lifecycle (install, upgrade, maintenance)</li><li>Strong understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)</li><li>2+ years of scripting experience (Ansible preferred)</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Note:</b> Dexian Canada will, on request, provide accommodations for disabilities to support your participation in all aspects of our Recruitment and Assessment/Selection Processes.</p><p><br></p><p>Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
