With a strong reputation for innovation and technical excellence in precision engineering, this company offers competitive wages, including shift premiums.</p><p><br /></p><p>If you are looking for a straight afternoon shift working for a leading company in the industry, this may be the role for you.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Consistent Afternoon Shift (Monday to Friday)</li><li>Competitive hourly wage $25 -$30</li><li>+ $1/hr - afternoon premium </li><li>Long-term, stable employment with growth potential</li><li>Great benefits- RRSP matching, medical, and dental</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Vacation</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement</li><li>Pension Plan</li><li>Years of service recognition</li><li>Company events, great culture, safety culture, and working conditions</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Set up and prepare all coating operations, including material handling, mixing, equipment maintenance, and cleanup.</li><li>Interpret and follow work instructions, technical drawings, customer specifications, and manufacturer data sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Prepare and mask metal components for coating as required by project specifications.</li><li>Inspect parts for cleanliness and properly prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, or other pre-coating methods.</li><li>Accurately mix and apply high-performance coatings in line with manufacturer and customer requirements.</li><li>Conduct paint thickness tests and produce necessary test coupons to verify coating integrity.</li><li>Perform inspections and testing to confirm compliance with quality and customer standards.</li><li>Utilize precision gauges and measuring tools to inspect finished work.</li><li>Identify and apply proper paint mixing, spray, and application techniques to achieve consistent finishes.</li><li>Understand the impact of fluid tips, mix ratios, and spray pressure on coating quality and adjust accordingly.</li><li>Monitor supply levels and provide input for ordering and maintaining inventory to meet production demands.</li><li>Complete all required process documentation, including batch logs, travelers, and coating thickness reports.</li><li>Handle, label, store, and dispose of hazardous paint materials in compliance with regulations.</li><li>Perform and record rework operations as necessary to meet quality standards.</li><li>Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and attendance requirements.</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S and environmental standards.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIRMENTS</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>• 3 – 5 years of hands-on painting experience is preferred</p><p>• Experience using a spray gun (ie. Conventional, pressure pot, HVLP, airless, air brush, etc.) is required</p><p>• Experience using equipment such as ultrasonic thickness gauge, paint shaker, mixer, abrasive grit blaster, drying oven, etc. is required</p><p>• Experience in the Aerospace or Auto body industry is an asset</p><p>• Experience with the following processes is an asset: chemical cleaning, abrasive surface prep, masking, spray high-performance coating</p><p> • Good manual dexterity</p><p> • Excellent attention to detail skills</p><p> • Effective verbal and written communication skills</p><p> • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions</p><p> • Ability to work with minimal supervision</p><p> • Ability to multitask</p><p> • Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel)</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p></p></p>
