The Front-End Lead delegates to, motivates, trains and mentors Front End Cashiers to promote their development. Reports to the Market Manager.</p><ul><li>Handles monetary transactions and performs advanced cashiering duties</li><li>Assists in supervising the Front-End team to ensure optimal performance and guest experience</li><li>Approves voids, employee discounts, returns and exchanges</li><li>Processes and settles daily cash and credit transactions for all departments</li><li>Processes and prepares shipment of daily cash deposits</li><li>Documents and communicates overages, shortages, sales data and technical or price discrepancies, communicating issues to the appropriate managers and departments</li><li>Processes and monitors currency orders to ensure that cash is always available for transactions</li><li>Maintains an accurate safe count along with daily operation and maintenance of a cash recycling machine</li><li>Orders and monitors inventory of supplies needed for the Front End</li><li>Documents, investigates, escalates and resolves employee or guest incidents</li><li>Performs other duties as required or assigned</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>1+ year of experience as a supervisor in a retail setting, with experience leading a cashier team preferred</li><li>Ability to handle money accurately and perform mathematical equations</li><li>Intermediate computer skills including e-mail and Microsoft Office</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred</li></ul><p><strong>JOB REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including weekends</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds</li><li>Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p><strong>Benefits and Perks</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Paid Parental Leave</li><li>RRSP</li><li>Bonus program</li><li>Free family meal daily</li><li>Discounts at Eataly</li><li>Classes on products and Italian cuisine</li><li>Referral bonus program</li><li>and more!</li></ul></p></p>
