<h3>Job Description</h3>
<p>Department View: Our Finance team, called TECE Finance, supports Transformation, Enablement and Customer Experience, which includes a number of innovative and customer focused business units such as AI2 (Analytics, Insights & Artificial Intelligence), Marketing, and Digital Strategy. The TECE Finance team is comprised of energetic individuals committed to creating a high-quality finance support function delivering valuable insights and analysis.</p>
<p>The Finance Business Partner Teams deliver strategic advice to partners within the bank, provide effective controls, build plans and forecasts, and financial reporting. The AI2 Finance Team Mandate includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>Performance Measurement & Analysis</li>
<li>Planning & Forecasting</li>
<li>Initiative Decision Support</li>
<li>Value added analysis, advice, and guidance to business partners</li>
</ul>
<p>We are currently looking to fill a vacancy in the AI2 Finance team.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<p>The successful candidate will report to the Senior Manager, AI2 Finance. Their objective is to provide financial and business analysis and support the AI2 team.</p>
<h3>Key Accountabilities For This Position Include</h3>
<ul>
<li>Serving as a Finance subject matter expert, while demonstrating a holistic viewpoint, on key components of AI2 Business and major AI2 initiatives. This will include frequent interaction with the business leaders</li>
<li>Working with their business partners to build value proposition templates for major AI2 initiatives, and integrating them into mechanisms to track program spend</li>
<li>Working with their business partners to build these initiatives into the annual financial plan and quarterly forecasts for their portfolio</li>
<li>Being a leader in forecasting & planning by further building process excellence and leveraging partners to provide value add to the business</li>
<li>Liaise with senior management and decision support team during the planning process to ensure initiatives are effectively incorporated into the business Annual Plan</li>
<li>Conducting analysis of forecast results and broader trends to provide a reasonable view of the future of the business with advice to improve decision making</li>
<li>Providing insightful and relevant commentary to Senior Management on business results, forecast and Plan</li>
<li>Developing of monthly and quarterly operating result packages. Conduct progressive analysis on monthly results and provide value add advice, and guidance</li>
<li>Being responsible to identify financial opportunities, conduct the necessary analysis to develop options and offer well supported recommendations to senior management. This includes strong written and in-person presentation skills</li>
<li>Proactively identifying issues and recommend actions to senior management</li>
<li>Provide leadership and support to the AI2 Finance team, fostering a positive and rewarding work environment</li>
<li>Working with senior management and lead in the development / implementation of new financial models, methodologies to support the business in understanding the financial impact of their decisions</li>
<li>Providing value-added financial analysis and advisory support to business partners to develop and execute strategic plans and goals or respond to ad hoc requests for business analysis</li>
</ul>

<ul>
<li>Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities – ability to consolidate inputs into clear, concise analysis and ultimately business decisions</li>
<li>Strong leadership capabilities to work effectively with senior executives</li>
<li>Ability to lead and manage in a fast paced and ever changing environment</li>
<li>Proactive self starter with the ability to see business opportunities warranting further review & analysis</li>
<li>Excellent analytical, logical, and organizational skills - able to provide clear and concise summaries of relevant data, observations and recommendations to management (turns complexity into simplicity)</li>
<li>Ability to lead and manage change</li>
<li>Organizational awareness and the ability to balance the viewpoints of Finance and the business units</li>
<li>Strong relationship management and advisory skills are required to support business partners and assist them with overcoming challenges</li>
<li>Ability to influence and motivate others, including those who do not have a direct reporting relationship</li>
<li>Ability to negotiate, problem solve and make decisions</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize competing requests and multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment</li>
<li>Undergraduate degree, MBA/CFA/CA/CPA designation preferred</li>
<li>7+ years of relevant experience</li>
</ul>
